Insurance:

The mandatory insurance covers (CDW) collision damage waiver. There is a deductible of US$ 750.00 and the insurance has a maximum coverage of 80% of damages to Third-Party property. We offer an optional deductible insurance for an extra daily cost of US$ 10.00, which also covers theft of accessory parts of the vehicle, such as spare tire and windshield. There is no coverage for theft of personals belongings.

We do not accept credit card insurance, because of the number of restrictions applicable to the coverage. In particular, it does not offer liability coverage, which is mandatory in our country. Generally it will not cover SUVs nor accidents which occur in gravel roads.

Service:

• Free drop off and pick up at your hotel in San Jose, San Jose Airport, Limon, Guapiles, Liberia Airport, Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Tamarindo Beach or Flamingo Beach.
• No drop off charge applies for return the car in a different Adobe location. (In rentals of three days or longer).
• Pick up/Drop off fees may apply in some areas, ask to our representative.
• Car & Driver service. Upon request we can facilitate you an english spoken chauffer your rental car.
• Road Assistance. With our 5 offices and 21 gas stations we are capable to provide you a fast assistance all around Costa Rica.

Requierements and other:

• Driver's minimum age is 23 years old.

• A valid Driver License.

• A credit card under the name of the renter, issued by a major credit card company, with USD 750.00 credit available

• Adobe Rent a Car does not accept debit cards.

• Vehicles are not allowed to be driven outside of Costa Rica.

• Adobe Rent a Car has a 24 hour rental period. Full daily rate will be charged after 4 hours.
